About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Construction & Forestry Division is seeking an entry-level Technician / Mechanic in Oahu, Hawaii. The technician will work on various makes and models of construction and forestry equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems and completing necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Work is performed under the guidance of senior technicians while the employee builds technical skills and knowledge. Pape’ provides training, mentoring, and continued learning opportunities. The role calls for someone who is self-starting, works well with a team, and is willing to learn. Compensation is $21.19–$29.66 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

Working knowledge of equipment.
One or more years of experience working on equipment, preferably in the construction and forestry industry, or a Diesel Technician degree in lieu of experience.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
