About The Position

Q-Lab Corporation is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant who reports to the Controller. The role assists with the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining a fixed asset system across multiple entities and countries. The position also supports accounts payable and receivable, financial analysis, tax compliance, KPI reporting, annual planning, inventory cost management, and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or accredited lab.
• Public Accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries.
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Learn and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Participate in the analysis of financial information.
• Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns.
• Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports.
• Assist in the annual planning process.
• Maintain the fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries.
• Assist with inventory cost management and general ledger reconciliation to the internal inventory system.
• Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
