About The Position

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is hiring an entry-level Service Technician to learn forklift repair and the material handling equipment industry. No prior forklift repair experience is required. The company provides training, tools, and mentorship to help the technician develop professionally. The role includes working alongside experienced technicians and progressing through a structured apprenticeship and career path toward Service Technician levels, Master Technician Certification, and potentially Team Leader.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic hand tools, or willingness to acquire them.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor rain or snow conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.
• Complete repairs under the guidance of a mentor.

• Use diagnostic software and service documentation.
• Build relationships with customers through professional service interactions.
