About The Position

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory specializing in automated DNA-based molecular analysis, including PCR testing. The Entry-Level Sales Executive maintains and grows a client base of hospital and physician customers in an assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales and profit objectives, developing new business, and presenting MDL’s tests and services to healthcare professionals. The position covers Chicago Heights, South Chicago, and Frankfort, Illinois, and requires frequent travel within the coverage area and occasional nationwide travel.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience is preferred but not required.
• A bachelor’s degree, two years of sales experience, or a similar combination of education and experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for a defined territory.
• Obtain new business and exceed the annual territory sales budget by presenting new test information, upselling, and identifying new revenue sources from clients.
• Develop and deliver personalized sales presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices, explaining how MDL’s technical features and services can benefit practices and patient care.
• Build positive, long-term client relationships by scheduling and conducting client calls.
• Develop and maintain a full pipeline of prospective clients and manage all activity in the assigned territory.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on pipeline, account plans, and territory management activities.
• Work with the Regional Manager to develop the assigned territory in line with company objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory.
