About The Position

Lawrence Harvey, part of LHi Group, is hiring an entry-level Recruitment Consultant for its team in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California. This is a commercial, sales-driven technology recruitment position—not an internal HR or administrative recruiting role. The consultant connects businesses seeking specialist technology talent with candidates exploring new career opportunities across emerging technology and business transformation markets, including AI, data, cybersecurity, cloud computing, engineering, and technology-enabled business change. The role involves learning and managing the full recruitment process: identifying prospective clients and business opportunities, developing client relationships, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting negotiations, and completing placements. The consultant will build a specialist network, develop market knowledge, and work toward activity targets and KPIs. Responsibilities increase as skills, confidence, and performance develop. No prior recruitment, sales, or technology-industry experience is required, and a university degree is not required. The employer provides a structured 12-week sales and recruitment training program, hands-on coaching, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for career progression. Compensation includes a $50,000 annual base salary, $10,000 guaranteed commission during training paid biweekly, and uncapped performance-based commission. Average first-year total earnings are stated as $70,000–$80,000+ depending on performance.
