About The Position

SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (SPS Fire) is hiring an Entry Level Production employee at its Howells, Nebraska location. Training is provided, and previous fabrication experience is not required. The starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with a yearly review. A strong mechanical aptitude and forklift experience are preferred but not required. The role involves operating pipe-processing equipment and accurately preparing pipe according to customer specifications. After training, the employee must be able to work independently and efficiently. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, life, AD&D, long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance. Requirements

Training is provided; previous fabrication experience is not required.
Must be able to work independently and efficiently once trained.
Must accurately read and follow customer-specified cut sheets and measure and cut pipe.
Must complete a pre-employment drug screening and successfully complete a background check.
