About The Position

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1) for its Experimental Systems Group (ESG) in Seal Beach, California. The position is expected to be 100% onsite and is scheduled for first shift. The role supports procurement and supplier management activities, including sourcing, contract documentation, supply-demand analysis, and supplier performance evaluation. The position may require travel up to 15% of the time. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense; relocation assistance is not negotiable. Applicants must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance, with an interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance required after starting. The role also requires compliance with U.S. export control requirements and a qualifying U.S. Person status. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. The summary pay range is $62,900–$77,700. Requirements

Experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience applying proper writing mechanics, grammar, and punctuation to reports, essays, or other detailed writings.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance, and an interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance is required after starting.
Meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
Satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Obtain proposals, evaluate sources, and monitor and report supplier performance.
Assist with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Support sourcing strategies and negotiations, and document contracts and agreements in compliance with company procedures and federal acquisition requirements.
Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and identify improvement opportunities.
