About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Post-Production Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves light vehicle maintenance, fluid checks, and quality inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during the post-production process. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and pass a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may require an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance on vehicles.
Check vehicle fluids.
Conduct quality inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during post-production.
Physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
