Entry Level HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
Service Champions is hiring enthusiastic, career-oriented entry-level field service technicians for a full-time role in San Jose, California. No prior residential HVAC experience is required. New hires participate in a nine-week paid technical training program at Champions University’s training center and lab in Pleasanton, California. The role involves performing routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems, inspecting and maintaining HVAC equipment, and providing customers with clear communication and education. Tools, equipment, a company vehicle, and a gas card are provided. Annualized potential compensation based on individual performance is $50,000–$65,000.

- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet climates.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks daily.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
- Use hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and maintain furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
- Build client relationships by providing exceptional service, clear communication, and education on system maintenance.
- Document services performed and recommendations made using appropriate forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Follow the company’s quality and safety standards and fulfill commitments.
- Keep job knowledge current by participating in educational opportunities and lifelong learning.
