About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections of vehicles to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. The role is based in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center and uses state-of-the-art tools. Entry-level training programs are offered to help employees develop their skills and progress in pay. The schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Must use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
