About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician for its vehicle Inspection Center in Rocklin, California. The role performs light maintenance and fluid checks, and conducts initial inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during vehicle reconditioning. Technicians work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and may receive training programs to support skills and pay progression. The position is staffed for second shift, Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with a stated pay range of $20 to $23 per hour based on experience. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.
