About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers, helping prepare vehicles for customers during the reconditioning process. The technician performs light maintenance and fluid checks and/or conducts initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs that may be needed. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The position offers a starting wage of $19.50–$21.50 per hour and requires at least six months of professional automotive repair experience. The listed schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
