About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Auto Technician with at least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience to work in a vehicle Reconditioning Center. The role involves light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. Technicians work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center, and entry-level employees may participate in training programs designed to help their skills and pay progress. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:15 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, including occasional exposure to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
