About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections of vehicles at its Rocklin, California, Inspection Center. The technician identifies imperfections and repairs that may be needed during the reconditioning process. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level technicians to support skill and pay progression. The position is scheduled for second shift, Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 4 p.m. Locations may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes in excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, including occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities
