About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician performs light maintenance and fluid checks, and conducts initial inspections to identify vehicle imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress. Starting pay is $19.50–$21.50 per hour. The listed schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday, and mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Carvana reconditions, inspects, perfects, and photographs vehicles before they are listed on its website. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Pass a complete background check.
