About The Position
Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an Entry Level Associate Attorney admitted or pending admission in New York to join its rapidly growing firm. The firm is looking for a motivated, hardworking attorney who is ready to put in the work to succeed individually and contribute to the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate is aggressive, communicates effectively, and delivers the quality of work clients expect. The position is based at the firm’s Garden City, New York office and may require travel to local state courts.
Requirements
- Must be admitted or pending admission in New York.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent research skills.
- Appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.
Nice To Haves
- Prior lender-side default services experience.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file summonses and complaints, dispositive motions, and other relevant responsive pleadings.
- Appear at settlement conferences, status conferences, and other dispositive motions or hearings.
- Travel to local state courts as required for court appearances.
