About The Position

BASX, an integral part of AAON, is an industry leader in the innovative research, development, design, and manufacturing of custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. Located in Redmond, OR, BASX partners with companies in various industries to resolve complex challenges with custom HVAC solutions. BASX is seeking talented individuals to join their dynamic, fast-paced, growing, and fun environment. This role is for an Entry-Level Assembler to support production operations, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain valuable experience. The role involves working on a fast-paced assembly line, rotating between positions such as assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping, allowing for the development of multiple trade skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to inspect all aspects and attributes of incoming, in-process or finished manufactured equipment and/or sub-assemblies to Company standards and determine acceptance or rejection.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy of reporting inspection data.
  • Ability to inspect product during assembly phase and after completion for design workmanship defects.
  • Ability to report results to lead or supervisor.
  • Ability to evaluate parts or assemblies against standards by reviewing blueprints, schematics, or drawings.
  • Ability to quarantine non-conforming material and complete the non-conforming material process.
  • Ability to help design/implement methods and procedures of inspecting the quality level of products.
  • Ability to utilize QC Inspection Paperwork and Electronic Systems to fulfill inspection and record-keeping requirements.
  • Ability to complete reports that indicate results of inspection or condition of shipments of materials.
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken form.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Ability to perform periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
