Entertainment Representative Regional - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)
About The Position
The Entertainment Representative Regional is responsible for selling tickets for the Showroom, IMAX Theatre, special events, exhibits, and other functions in the Atlantic City region. The role includes opening and closing department duties and may involve special assignments requested by upper management. The representative handles ticket reservations and customer inquiries, performs cashiering and related accounting, and assists with IMAX Theatre operations, including handling and cleaning 3D glasses. The role also provides show information and helps guests with seating assignments at theaters and other entertainment venues. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, and deadline-driven, involving coordination across multiple projects and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.
Requirements
- Ability to learn computer systems, including Ticketmaster, AS400, Access, and Excel.
- Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work exceptionally well under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle high-volume demand.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize work, and accommodate last-minute requests and changes.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
- One year of prior Box Office experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell tickets for the Showroom, IMAX Theatre, special events, exhibits, and other functions in the Atlantic City region.
- Perform opening and closing duties of the department.
- Perform special assignments for upper management as requested.
- Handle incoming calls and ADA reservations efficiently and courteously.
- Process incoming ticket reservations through the ticketing system; register and distribute complimentary show tickets.
- Perform cashiering and maintain accurate accounting of the change bank used for making change and issuing refunds.
- Assist with IMAX Theatre operations, including distributing and collecting 3D glasses and operating machinery used to clean them.
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding shows.
- Assist guests with seating assignments in the theater and other entertainment venues.
