About The Position

Safran Defense & Space, Inc. is seeking an intern for its paid summer internship program in the Enterprise Systems Department. The position is based at the company’s Bedford, New Hampshire location and reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems. The intern will own a project during the internship while supporting the department’s goals. The role provides exposure to enterprise resource planning systems, project management methodologies, and how ERP systems support broader business objectives.

Requirements

Actively working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in management information systems (MIS) or computer science.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to function professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance.
Must be a U.S. citizen or hold U.S. Protected Individual status.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an ITAR environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with configuring and maintaining SAP ERP modules for functions such as finance, procurement, and inventory management.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems team to identify process improvements and help design solutions.
Work with end-users to understand their needs and assist with troubleshooting system issues.
Contribute to data migration, testing, and validation during ERP system updates or implementations.
Document workflows, processes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to project management methodologies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
