About The Position

GPV is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Administrator who combines strong technical capability with humility, ownership, and a genuine commitment to helping people. This hands-on role supports and improves the technology platforms that keep GPV and its subsidiaries productive across the United States and Australia. You will work across enterprise infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, VMware, identity, backup and resilience, and modernization initiatives. The role requires someone who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, collaborate closely with a small team, and contribute thoughtful recommendations about standards, investments, and long-term technology direction. Our primary purpose is to support users and business operations. Every GPV IT team member participates in end-user support, incident response, service requests, and operational problem solving.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
3+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity services.
Experience administering VMware or Hyper-V virtualized environments.
Experience supporting enterprise networking, including switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, or VPN technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services or hybrid Azure integrations.
Experience supporting Windows Server and core infrastructure services.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple technology layers and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

ServiceNow experience or a strong working knowledge of ITIL practices.
Palo Alto Networks, Strata Cloud Manager, GlobalProtect, or SD-WAN experience.
Veeam Backup & Recovery or strong experience with enterprise backup, recovery, and business continuity practices.
SharePoint Online administration, information architecture, governance, or adoption experience.
PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, API integration, or workflow automation experience.
Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, Exchange Hybrid, Cisco, Meraki, or enterprise storage experience.
Experience leading infrastructure projects, modernization efforts, technical standards, or vendor engagements.

Responsibilities

Support Users and Business Operations: Provide responsive, professional support for end users, incidents, service requests, and business-critical technology issues. Partner with employees and business leaders to understand needs, solve problems, and keep operations productive. Balance day-to-day support responsibilities with platform ownership, projects, and improvement initiatives. Step in to assist teammates, share knowledge, and engage the right people when collaboration is needed.
Operate and Modernize Enterprise Infrastructure: Administer VMware vCenter and ESXi, Windows Server, Dell server infrastructure, enterprise storage, iSCSI SAN networks, file services, DNS, DHCP, certificates, and related core services. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues across infrastructure layers, and manage lifecycle, capacity, reliability, and technical debt. Help modernize legacy file services through appropriate use of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure Files, Azure Blob Storage, and other approved solutions. Contribute to infrastructure standards, roadmaps, design decisions, vendor coordination, and annual investment planning.
Administer Microsoft 365 and Collaboration Services: Administer and improve Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, licensing, and collaboration capabilities. Partner with business areas to expand adoption of Microsoft 365 and improve how employees collaborate, communicate, and manage information. Support the continued evolution from legacy and on-premises services toward secure, supportable cloud-based capabilities. Contribute to responsible adoption of Microsoft Copilot and emerging Microsoft 365 capabilities.
Advance Identity and Access Services: Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, authentication, authorization, hybrid identity, and related integrations. Help advance centralized identity management, modern authentication, single sign-on, and reduced dependency on legacy identity services. Identify access, configuration, lifecycle, and governance gaps and recommend practical improvements.
Support and Improve Enterprise Networking: Administer and support Palo Alto firewalls, Strata Cloud Manager, switching, routing, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPN services, wireless networks, ISP connectivity, and network monitoring. Troubleshoot complex connectivity, routing, segmentation, and performance issues across sites, systems, users, cloud services, and external providers. Help design, implement, document, and maintain network segmentation, firewall policies, routing standards, secure remote connectivity, and modernization initiatives. Monitor network health and capacity, coordinate with carriers and vendors, and identify reliability, security, performance, and lifecycle improvements.
Strengthen Business Continuity and Resilience: Operate and improve Veeam Backup & Recovery, backup repositories, immutable storage, recovery monitoring, and related protection platforms. Validate backup health and restore readiness and participate in recovery testing, disaster recovery planning, and resilience improvements. Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and mitigation opportunities affecting the recoverability of business systems and information.
Use ServiceNow to Improve IT Operations: Use ServiceNow daily as the operational backbone for incidents, requests, changes, knowledge, configuration management, and service delivery. Maintain accurate records, documentation, knowledge articles, and configuration information that support reliable IT operations. Contribute to improvements in workflows, business rules, auditing, automation, and operational visibility. Use data and service-management practices to improve prioritization, accountability, and user outcomes.
Drive Automation and Technology Evolution: Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone work and develop practical improvements using PowerShell, APIs, Microsoft Graph, platform-native tools, and workflow automation. Help define clear business rules that describe what automated systems should do, how outcomes should be governed, and how exceptions should be handled. Evaluate technology through both an IT and business lens, balancing quick wins with sustainable long-term growth. Document systems, changes, decisions, procedures, and standards so knowledge is shared and the environment remains supportable.
