About The Position

The Enterprise REDCap Manager leads Enterprise Research Applications, specifically REDCap, by developing its architecture, structure, security, and application reporting. This role also involves leading the applications team, supporting strategy, policies, procedures, business processes, education/training initiatives, project management, system integration, system security, and maintenance initiatives. The manager is responsible for building business intelligence and reporting solutions for end-users. This position dually reports through Research Services in Winston-Salem and Charlotte, ensuring that REDCap and Research Applications effectively support the research systems and data needs of Advocate Health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years of applications programming experience

  • Master's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Determine and delegate resources to complete Research Services Applications and programming projects.
  • Determine software development architecture requirements, specifications, timelines, and security.
  • Maintain and customize system design to meet end-users' needs.
  • Develop strategy and policy for system use and integration.
  • Ensure that REDCap and Research Applications support the Research systems and data needs of Advocate Health.
  • Lead Enterprise Research Applications such as REDCap by developing architecture, structure, security, and application reporting.
  • Lead the applications team by developing the team and supporting the strategy, policies, procedures, business processes, education/training initiatives, project management, system integration, system security and maintenance initiatives.
  • Build business intelligence and reporting solutions to support end users.
