About The Position

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time. We’re looking for a Finance Intern to join our team at Cox. In this role, you’ll get to dive into challenging projects, interact with experts and see your contributions come to life. Requirements

  • Solid understanding of financial modeling, financial statements, variance analysis and reporting key business drivers.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfortable speaking honestly to all levels of the business.
  • Solid analytical and research abilities.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Handle planning and reporting activities, business health assessments and various ad-hoc analyses.
  • Analyze raw data and then repackage, simplify and determine key takeaways from the results.
  • Assist with the development of presentations for an executive-level audience.
  • Evaluate business performance by developing reporting tools.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Complete special projects and prepare reports.
