About The Position

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Modeling & Simulation Engineer for the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department (CMED) in the Integrated Performance Subdivision of the Enterprise Effects Division. CMED integrates and applies modeling and simulation capabilities and modern analysis workflows to support end-to-end effects-chain analysis and space and space-enabled campaign modeling. The role provides technical support for modeling, simulation, and analysis of space-, air-, and ground-based systems of systems, evaluating architecture and concept-of-operations performance in nominal and contested environments. Areas of focus include agent-based modeling, red-versus-blue simulations, military utility and capability drawdown, kill-chain effectiveness, enterprise architecture resiliency, and command-and-control evaluation. The position is full-time and 100% onsite in El Segundo, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; or Chantilly, Virginia. The engineer will collaborate with program offices and customers, develop software-based modeling capabilities, conduct enterprise-level simulations and technical analyses, communicate results, mentor junior staff, and travel occasionally as required.
