The Enrollment & Student Success Specialist supports student success by monitoring risk indicators, coordinating proactive outreach, and connecting students with appropriate resources. It manages key enrollment data, tracks division milestones, and provides analysis to inform strategic decision-making. The role also supports Enrollment Services operations through internal communications, publication coordination, and assistance with meetings and professional development. This is a hybrid eligible position that would allow for 1-2 days a week working from home after the training period.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in related field OR Education in related field combined with appropriate occupational experience totaling 2 years OR Related occupational experience totaling 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Perform office functions that may include but are not limited to respond to internal/external customers and staff; create and modify documents, records, and reports using College standard software; maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing system; monitor inventory and budget information; schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings and/or appointments.
  • Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
  • Student Success is the cornerstone of Western’s culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.
  • Monitor and triage student risk alerts and actionable insights generated through platforms such as EdSights (Admit and Retain) and the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
  • Coordinate timely, proactive outreach and interventions for prospective and current students identified as at-risk in collaboration with admissions, advising, financial aid, and college-wide student support teams
  • Ensure effective referral pathways by connecting students to appropriate academic and non-academic resources.
  • Track, analyze, and report on outcomes to assess effectiveness and identify trends.
  • Support the development of targeted outreach campaigns based on student behavior, risk indicators, and lifecycle stage.
  • Track and manage milestones, timelines, and outcomes across the Enrollment Services Division.
  • Maintain documentation of enrollment metrics and key performance indicators for the division, including visual management; prepare summaries for division leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor trends across the student lifecycle to identify opportunities for process improvement and enrollment growth.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of division-wide enrollment initiatives including new and continuing registration, re-enrollment and stop-out recovery strategies, and persistence initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects aligned with enrollment priorities, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved.
  • Oversee and maintain the division’s SharePoint and internal communication platforms to ensure accessibility of resources and documentation.
  • Coordinate the development of division publications and materials, including annual reports, registration guides, and communication resources.
  • Support the planning and execution of division meetings, training, and professional development activities.
