About The Position
This casual position for an Enrolled Nurse is within the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network in Port Augusta. The role involves supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in delivering safe, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Responsibilities include assisting with assessments, routine procedures, and nursing care tasks within the scope of practice, contributing to quality improvement and evidence-based care, providing education to patients and families, supporting the learning of others, and continuing professional development.
Requirements
- Enrolled or eligible for enrolment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload, recognise changes in clinical condition and provide person-centred care.
- Experience providing nursing care within a healthcare setting in line with professional standards of practice.
Responsibilities
