About The Position

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is seeking dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our Country Health Connect - Community Nursing team. In this rewarding role, you will support Registered Nurses in the delivery of safe, person-centred care across community-based settings. Working under supervision but retaining responsibility for your own professional actions, you will provide essential nursing services, contribute to quality improvement, and support clients with diverse health needs. Requirements

  • Current or eligible registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (Certificate IV or Diploma of Nursing).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • A passion for wound care and providing nursing care in clients homes or clinic environment.
  • Confidence in prioritising workload, recognising changes in patient condition, and following appropriate reporting pathways.
  • Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and person-centred care.
  • Knowledge of standards, legislation, codes of conduct and professional boundaries relevant to EN practice.
  • Competence in basic computer and clinical documentation systems.
  • A valid SA driver’s licence and willingness to work across Country Health Connect – Limestone Coast sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering nursing care in a healthcare environment (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Undertake routine assessment, care planning and clinical procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Engage with clients to build therapeutic relationships, support holistic care plans, and provide education as required.
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Contribute to confidential, high-quality nursing services and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Support and guide students, assistants in nursing, and other learners under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in professional development, maintain a portfolio of learning, and uphold evidence-based practice.
  • Promote and participate in quality improvement and research activities where appropriate.
