About The Position
GroundSystems is seeking an Enhancement Crew Leader to manage and mentor a dedicated landscaping crew in Tri-County. This role involves combining fieldwork with leadership to ensure high-quality service, efficient workflow, and team success across enhancement projects. It is an opportunity for individuals with a landscaping background to grow into a leadership position.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (CDL not required)
- At least 20 years old
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Basic English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Nice To Haves
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience
- Familiarity with tools such as hand saws, pruners, mowers, weed eaters, and blowers
- Experience supervising a small team or crew
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily landscaping operations
- Ensuring quality control and project standards
- Training and supervising crew members
- Performing and guiding tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and general groundskeeping
- Perennial bed maintenance
- Equipment operation and upkeep
- Maintaining a safe, efficient worksite
- Operating trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment
