Somebody's got to do it! We use only the best ingredients to make our award-winning burgers. Each of the past 7-years, Portland & Vancouver consumers have voted us as the Best Burger in Town, while each of the past 3-years, we've also been voted Best Burger in the Willamette Valley. Each original size burger features 100% beef 1/3-pound smash burgers topped with almost all featuring freshly cooked, crispy bacon. Our menu also features our signature Peanut Butter, Pickle, Bacon Burger. To top things off, add crispy made-to order fries or onion rings and a cold beverage and you’re in Burger heaven. Killer Burger was founded by TJ Southard in 2010, when he opened the first location in Portland’s Hollywood District. As of April 2026, there are 24 locations, with 6 more scheduled to open in 2026. Cascade KB, LLC is a LOCAL, independently owned, and operated franchise of Killer Burger , with locations in Salem, Gresham, Medford and Bend. We also have territorial rights to the Boise, ID & Salt Lake City trade areas and plan to open our first Boise location in November of 2026. Our current development agreement calls for 14 Killer Burger locations in total and we're excited to continue building the Killer Burger brand! Job Philosophy You are one of the attendants to the "The Party", the primary burger builder, happy guest maker, and store cleaner. Your first job is learning how to make a perfect Killer Burger, perfect every time. Then your job is to ensure every guest has a great time. In everything you do for Killer Burger you are an ambassador of our brand. You will work to support your direct supervisors, the Guest Experience Lead, Kitchen Lead and General Manager. Requirements

We're looking for applicants with previous leadership experience, ideally within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

Learning the Killer Burger Way for all crew workstations & shifts in the restaurant: Prep, Build, Grill, Expo, Front of House, & Register stations.
You will be expected to meet or exceed performance standards for each position.
You will be trained to open and close the restaurant using our standard checklists.
Tasks include workstation deployment, managing labor, food and cash, assigning side tasks & following up for completion, and running great shifts to our Killer Burger standards.
Make all guests feel they are your #1 priority
Preparing recipes according to company procedures
Cooking food on the grill line to order
Working as a cashier: handling cash, using a Point of Sale System
Cleaning: floors, surfaces, bathrooms, coolers, employee areas, etc ...
Make eye contact & greet them in a clear, gracious way, as they come through the door.
Make sure they know what we offer, double check to make sure we know what they want.
Ask if they are happy with what we have given them, and thank them when they leave.
Know what we sell, how we make it, the substitutions available & our prices
Be on time, leave any troubles at the door, work hard with a smile on your face.
Show a sense of urgency: never run but move quickly & with purpose.
Communicate with your crew in a respectful, upbeat, considerate manner.
Work safe; verbalize to co-workers what you're doing & where you're going.
Work is conducted at the Killer Burger store. Environment has moderate to high noise level. Position requires walking, POS work, cooking, cleaning, phone calls and creating "The Party"!
You will be required to lift up to 45 pounds as needed.

Earn a starting wage of $22.35 per hour, including tips. We guarantee $5 per hour in tips and with your base wage of $17.35, you're guaranteed to make at least $22.35 per hour.
