About The Position

TransPerfect is seeking experienced freelance translators specializing in Medical Benefits to join a dedicated team of preferred language specialists. The role involves delivering high-quality Medical Benefits translations for clients. The language pair is English into Uzbek (Uzbekistan, Latin), and candidates may be located anywhere in the world. Applicants will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete free Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests to evaluate their skills. Applicants should submit an up-to-date CV that includes relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience, along with their proposed per-word rates in USD for each service. Requirements

• Native speaker of Uzbek.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience translating content in the Medical Benefits field.
• Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines.
• Meet at least one of these qualification pathways: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized institution of higher education; two years of translation experience and a college degree; five years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
• Sign a confidentiality agreement and complete the required Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests.

Responsibilities

• Translate Medical Benefits content from English into Uzbek (Uzbekistan, Latin).
• Complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM assessments.
• Include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience and proposed per-word rates in the CV.
