About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Elgin, SC. This role involves teaching English to two young children, a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old, who are beginners in the language. The lessons will focus on helping them settle into preschool/school and make new friends. The teacher will deliver tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons, develop curricula based on the learners' proficiency and goals, monitor progress, and communicate professionally.
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- A degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
- Experience working with young children
