About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Cupertino, CA. This role involves teaching individual classes for children (age 4 and 7 years old) with specific learning goals and preferences. The lessons will focus on vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking skills, tailored to the students' levels and interests.
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- A degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
- Experience working with young children is a must
Nice To Haves
- Ability to teach structured lessons with a well-designed, tailored curriculum
- Experience with homework practice, varied learning methods, clear objectives, and teacher feedback
- Familiarity with topics such as transportation, countries, cultures, painting, crafts, and stories
