About The Position
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide face-to-face lessons to our clients in Lexington, SC. This role involves teaching a family of 3 children (ages 6, 10, and 12) who are at a beginner level of English. The lessons will focus on helping them understand school lessons and assignments, build vocabulary, practice grammar, and learn about common phrases, safety, and cultural aspects of living in a new country. The teacher will use engaging activities related to the students' interests such as USA, hobbies, shopping, trains, airplanes, schools, sports, holidays, IT, games, friends, toys, and LEGO.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- A degree or certification in education, linguistics, or a related field
- Experience teaching children is a must
- Ability to manage both individual and small-group lessons
- An engaging, patient, and supportive teaching style
Nice To Haves
- Native Hungarian speaker
- Knowledge of German
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, age-appropriate English lessons for children at the beginner level
