English/History Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time English/History Tutor to provide high-quality instruction in accordance with C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The tutor will foster a positive learning environment and support students' academic growth and development. C2 Education supports students with college test preparation, AP exams, college essays and admissions, K–12 tutoring, and AP/Summer Boot Camps. The role is based at the San Ramon C2 location in San Ramon, California, and requires the ability to tutor in person. Sessions are held after school and are typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. Travel is negligible. The stated pay range is $24.00–$30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
- Ability to work in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and students' needs, as assigned.
- Tutor students in person.
