About The Position

Indian Township Solutions (ITS), an owned entity of the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Indian Township, is an audiovisual systems integration and installation organization serving the Intelligence Community, rapid prototyping facilities, premier commercial customers, and related end users around the world. The Entry Level Engineering Technician performs maintenance and modification work related to a fuselage tank conversion, working with engineers, modification specialists, and quality assurance inspectors. The position requires careful attention to safety, aviation regulations, testing, calibration, and documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• IPC Electronic Wiring and Soldering Certificate.
• Experience using power and hand tools.
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• One year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, reassemble, and install components related to the fuselage tank conversion.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to perform maintenance and modification tasks.
• Collaborate with aerospace engineers, modification specialists, and quality assurance inspectors to complete projects successfully.
• Conduct functional tests and inspections to verify the integrity and performance of the modified tank.
• Maintain detailed work records, including logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements established by aviation authorities and company policy.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of systems and equipment.
• Identify and report problems, defects, or malfunctions to senior engineers or technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
