About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. The position is located in Londonderry, New Hampshire, and follows a 4/10 schedule: four 10-hour days per week. This is a second-shift role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of prior experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/AA degree with 2 years of prior experience.

Ability to work as an individual contributor under limited supervision, taking initiative and working autonomously.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Electronics background with proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
Data-gathering and basic data-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, construction, testing, and checkout of test equipment.
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Work from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions; may work with complex machines or computer systems.
Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the prescribed format.
Perform certifications and clarify Pass/Fail criteria.
Review and address station issues.
Identify and escalate potential part nonconformances.
Disposition or data-correct systems that fail within production.
Identify failure trends and process improvements.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fixturing and equipment.
Participate in meetings, committees, and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues, and maintain knowledge of new developments, requirements, and policies.
