About The Position

The Final Assembler performs essential production tasks as part of a team, completing assembly of coolers and ensuring they are customer ready. The position involves assembling cooler components, testing and disassembling assemblies for shipment, and using tools and equipment while following safety requirements.

Requirements

Six months of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Aptitude for mechanics.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work in tight or enclosed areas and at heights of six feet above the ground.
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to use reason to solve problems.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Commitment to taking pride in the work and final product shipped.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Hand-assemble cooler components.
Use hand and power tools to assemble components and complete coolers.
Study blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks.
Test and disassemble assemblies for shipment.
Operate manlifts and cranes.
Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Follow JSA and work instructions, use identified PPE, work safely, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Identify defective items and handle them accordingly.
