About The Position

The Final Assembler performs essential production tasks as part of a team, completing cooler assembly and ensuring each cooler is customer ready. The role involves assembling components and finished coolers, preparing assemblies for shipment, and operating equipment such as manlifts and cranes.

Requirements

Six months of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical aptitude.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work in tight or enclosed areas and at heights of six feet above the ground.
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to solve problems using reason.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Follow job safety analyses (JSA), work instructions, and identified personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Take pride in work and the final product shipped.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Hand-assemble cooler components.
Use hand and power tools to assemble components and completed coolers.
Study blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks.
Test and disassemble assemblies for shipment.
Operate manlifts and cranes.
Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Work safely, maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace, and identify and appropriately handle defective items.
