About The Position

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance on, and recommending replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. The role involves calibrating controls, gauges, and meters, identifying and operating shut-off valves, and managing inventory and purchase orders. The Engineering Supervisor will also inspect tools, equipment, and machines, enter and locate work-related information using computers, and operate a power lift. A key responsibility includes completing the life safety checklist, performing fire-pump and generator run tests, inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, and assisting in the development of disaster response protocols. The role also requires responding to and attending to guest repair requests. Additionally, the supervisor will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. This includes adhering to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards, and completing safety training. The position demands maintaining a clean and professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, and providing excellent guest service, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are crucial. The role also involves ensuring quality standards and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-savings. Physical requirements include reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, grasping and manipulating objects, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving up and down stairs or service ramps. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log.
