The Engineering Rotational Development Program is an 18-month program giving engineers the opportunity to gain meaningful experience in up to three Power Generation departments focused on improving PG&E’s electric generating facilities. Senior Engineers provide mentoring. The role includes time at generating facilities supporting engineering, Operations & Maintenance, and construction projects. Facilities are in the foothills and Sierra Nevada Mountain range between Fresno and Shasta. Rotational assignments may be at engineering offices in Redding, Burney, Chico, Auburn, or Auberry; PG&E may temporarily relocate employees to any of these offices for one or more rotations. Successful completion is determined by a panel and includes obtaining an Engineer-in-Training Certificate. Successful candidates will be interviewed for an Associate Project Engineer position at a location based on Power Generation’s business needs.
