About The Position

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the implementation of projects in a production plant with a mindset and culture focused on continuous improvement, utilizing cutting-edge market technology. You will have the opportunity to be part of a great team with high technical knowledge and LEAN methodology for project management and operations. Your work will directly impact the plant's and company's results, leading important initiatives aimed at increasing our competitiveness and market positioning. Your main responsibilities will include both Project Management (planning, cost and resource control) and technical leadership from project definition to execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in industrial engineering or other technical engineering fields.
  • Experience in Project Management in industrial environments.
  • Experience in process development and technical project leadership.
  • High level of English (Advanced).
  • Customer orientation and high performance to be part of a passionate team.
  • Desire to make things happen and eagerness to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical definition of projects: Define technical scope (mechanical and electrical). Search for equipment and technologies suitable for the process. Select engineering equipment that reproduces the process based on a Best Value Option Analysis. Conduct design reviews with the project team and suppliers. Manage investment end-to-end (e2e): preparation, opening, follow-up, and management of orders.
  • Manage CPS (Critical Path Schedule): Define the team and work plan. Lead all follow-up meetings (Core Team & Technical Core Team). Communicate CPS evolution and critical path status to Top Management.
  • Execute projects: Monitor equipment delivery, understanding and managing deadlines. Prepare the layout and necessary facilities. Define and execute the assembly plan. Define the necessary resources. Execute the commissioning plan. Define and lead the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Conduct risk analysis (ORA, QRP), including responsibility for HS&E. Carry out monitoring and follow-up of the Post Start-up List.
  • Lead the project team at a local and/or regional level: Coordinate all resources involved in the project's Core Team: Internals: production, technical team, quality, safety, supply chain. Externals: marketing, finance, product development, HR, central engineering, regulatory. Suppliers and Contractors. Present project stages for approval to the Product Lifecycle Management or Change Board process.
