About The Position

The Engineering & Productization Manager converts market demand and project opportunities into standardized, repeatable, commercially viable fabricated and manufactured solutions. The role advances Loenbro’s shift from project-specific fabrication toward a scalable manufacturing platform and leads technical development and productization of integrated modular solutions for targeted end markets. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, the Manager serves as the technical integrator for Loenbro’s hub-and-spoke manufacturing model, developing products for final assembly, integration, testing, and shipment through designated hubs while allocating components and subassemblies to spoke facilities where capabilities, capacity, quality, logistics, and economics support the work. The position leads product strategy and portfolio development; strategic partner engagement; multidisciplinary modular-solution development; engineering management and design governance; design for manufacturing and assembly; prototyping, validation, and production readiness; configuration, intellectual-property, and lifecycle management; commercialization; and cross-functional execution. It coordinates internal and external engineering resources and works with Business Development, Estimating, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Projects, Quality, and Operations to move products from concept through business case, design, prototype, validation, standard release, and continuous improvement. The Manager leads and develops assigned engineers, designers, product-development personnel, and matrixed technical teams. The role requires regular travel to customer, partner, project, supplier, and Loenbro manufacturing locations, with travel estimated at approximately 30–50% based on business needs. Work combines office and remote work with frequent visits to manufacturing facilities, shop floors, and industrial job sites, where exposure to typical fabrication and manufacturing environmental factors may occur.
