About The Position

The Fabrication & Manufacturing Manager of Projects is responsible for the safe, profitable, and timely delivery of multiple projects across Loenbro’s fabrication and manufacturing network. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, the role provides portfolio-level oversight and direct accountability for assigned internal Loenbro and external third-party projects. The Manager leads projects from pre-award planning and operational turnover through engineering, procurement, fabrication, shipment, closeout, and commercial reconciliation, coordinating teams across shop operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, safety, estimating, project controls, logistics, and customer organizations. The role establishes consistent project-management practices and provides visibility, accountability, and leadership to support reliable project outcomes and Loenbro’s strategy to operate Fabrication & Manufacturing as a scalable, centralized business unit. The Manager controls safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, and customer commitments; leads project personnel and matrixed teams; and manages project planning, engineering readiness, procurement, production, project controls, financial and commercial performance, change and risk, stakeholder relationships, closeout, and continuous improvement. The position combines office or remote work with frequent visits to fabrication shops, project sites, vendors, and customer locations. Travel is approximately 30–50%, depending on project needs. Shop and industrial site visits may involve exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other typical manufacturing and fabrication conditions. Compliance with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro EH&S policies is required. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is required, although equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Loenbro offers a competitive salary, benefits, and rewards.
