About The Position

The Engineering & Productization Manager converts market demand and project opportunities into standardized, repeatable, commercially viable fabricated and manufactured solutions. The role advances Loenbro’s transition from project-specific fabrication to a scalable manufacturing platform and reports to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing. The Manager leads technical development and productization of integrated modular solutions for targeted end markets. The role builds relationships with external partners and internal operating groups to identify recurring needs, define product requirements, and develop solutions suited to off-site manufacturing and field installation. It serves as the technical integrator for a hub-and-spoke manufacturing model, coordinating final assembly, integration, testing, and shipment through designated hubs while allocating components and subassemblies to spoke facilities where capabilities, capacity, quality, logistics, and economics support the work. The position combines engineering leadership, design management, product-development discipline, manufacturing knowledge, commercial judgment, and relationship-building. It guides concepts through design, validation, pilot production, standard release, configuration control, commercialization, and continuous improvement. The role also leads and develops technical teams, establishes engineering and product-development processes, and collaborates across Business Development, Estimating, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Projects, Quality, and Operations. The work combines office or remote work with frequent travel—approximately 30–50% based on business needs—to customer sites, partner facilities, manufacturing hubs and spokes, and industrial job sites. Site visits may involve exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other typical fabrication and manufacturing conditions. Compliance with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro EH&S policies is required.
