Engineering Manager
About The Position
OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels is seeking a skilled, proactive Engineering Manager to oversee the hotel’s maintenance and engineering operations. The role directs daily maintenance of the property’s interior and exterior, keeps guest and service areas in proper working order and appearance, and ensures that front- and back-of-house areas are clean, safe, and well maintained. The Engineering Manager maintains applicable standards and guidelines and ensures compliance with regulations while providing quality customer service. OUTRIGGER emphasizes respect for the cultures and communities where its employees live and the practice of aloha, encouraging employees to extend it to guests and colleagues.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a Chief Engineer at a full-service hotel or across multiple properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the hotel’s maintenance and engineering operations.
- Direct daily maintenance operations for the interior and exterior of the physical facility.
- Ensure guest and service areas are kept in proper working order and appearance.
- Maintain applicable standards and guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide quality customer service while ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained front- and back-of-house areas.
