About The Position
A well-established precision manufacturing company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8 while staying hands-on in design and development. You’ll oversee custom machinery, tooling, and gear-cutting equipment, working closely with both the engineering team and the shop floor. This role is a true blend of leadership + technical ownership —you’ll mentor engineers, drive process improvements, support production, and act as a key liaison with customers.
Requirements
- 7–12+ years in mechanical engineering within manufacturing/machining
- Strong SolidWorks and GD&T experience
- Proven leadership + ability to stay hands-on
- Background in CNC machining, tooling, or industrial equipment
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8 engineers.
- Oversee custom machinery, tooling, and gear-cutting equipment.
