About The Position

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the successful production of engineering and shop drawing deliverables (2D and 3D as required) through the effective supervision of Engineers & Drafters. This person will have a passion for and know how to leverage technology to drive the delivery strategy that produces high-quality with a strong focus on improving the design phase and project outcomes.

Requirements

• Supervision of Engineers & Drafters
• Leverage technology to drive delivery strategy
• Produce high-quality deliverables
• Improve the design phase and project outcomes
• Experience with AutoCAD

• Experience with CRM systems
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Quality Improvement Processes (5's, Six Sigma, Lean, general experience with continuous improvement process/teams)

Responsibilities

• Communicates requirements to production department.
• Proper and accurate interactions directly with customers
• Produces CNC programs and shop drawings for manufacturing.
• Communicates with contractors, Sales, Project Managers and Designers.
• Monitor drafting primarily in AutoCAD to produce usable shop drawings as well as marketing & concept drawings
