About The Position

Join our Engineering Services team as a technical leader in Safety and Licensing, supporting domestic and international operating CANDU reactors. This role offers the opportunity to lead high‑impact nuclear engineering work that enables safe, reliable operation and long‑term performance of nuclear generating units. You will work closely with experienced engineers, project leaders, and cross‑functional partners in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. Lead the technical execution and overall quality of Safety and Licensing engineering scopes. Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure compliance with client requirements, nuclear codes, and quality standards. Plan and coordinate engineering activities within regulated nuclear QA programs and governance frameworks. Review and approve engineering documents and drawings within delegated authority. Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams of engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts. Manage priorities, risks, and interfaces to support safe and on‑time project delivery. Promote continuous improvement through innovation, lessons learned, and effective engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead complex nuclear engineering scopes within Safety and Licensing environments.
  • Proficiency in CANDU reactor design and nuclear safety and licensing practices.
  • Aptitude for working across multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholder interfaces.
  • Ability to apply sound technical judgment to deliver quality engineering work to schedule and budget.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and support career development.
