Mission Systems Mission Critical Products (MCP) is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager of Hardware Engineering to lead a mixed Mechanical & Electrical Engineering section within the Multi-Domain Assured Navigation & Timing Applications (MANTA) organization. In this role, you will drive innovative, mission-critical solutions that empower defense customers with cutting-edge technology. Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
• Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
• 3+ years experience leading cross-functional technical teams with a passion for challenging and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highly innovative engineers in the invention, development, build, and test of mechanical & electronic solutions supporting Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products and technology.
• Oversee the mechanical & electrical engineering execution of internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects, striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
• Develop innovation strategies via collaboration with internal and external customers and partner organizations across the company.
• Collaborate with personnel across Mission Systems and RTX to support technology transition planning and recommend projects for independent research & development (IR&D).
• Develop and nurture internal and external networks, forging relationships with peers across Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream leadership, and Operations.
