Engineering Manager, Analytics

We are seeking an individual to lead our Reporting-Analytics Engineering Squad at MNTN. This role involves working with cutting-edge online advertising technology to deliver data transformations, analytics, and visualizations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including experience with CI/CD frameworks, and will be responsible for coordinating customer-facing changes across various stakeholders. The role reports to the Head of Data and requires exceptional people skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Hire, manage, grow, and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Have an expert understanding of modern software development lifecycle using scalable Agile, including experience with CI/CD frameworks.
• Coordinate customer-facing changes across various technical and non-technical stakeholders including other engineering teams and customer support teams.
• Own the processes on your team.
• Report to the Head of Data.
• Manage product-oriented engineering teams.
• Have experience with React and modern frontend JS technologies.
• Have experience with Node.js, backend development, and API design concepts.
• Have experience with Analytics, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and DB design/management concepts.
• Have experience with HTML5, CSS3+, and styling frameworks, such as Styled Components or Tailwind.
• Work with UI/UX designers.
• Have exceptional people skills - mentoring, guiding, scaling, delegating.
• Have excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multiple priorities.
• Have experience with MarTech/AdTech systems, especially with building them.
• Have experience with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI, Jenkins, CodeFresh.
• Have experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Have experience with SVN/GIT and how it relates to managing release cycles.
• Have experience with AGILE methodologies and ensuring sprint priorities are met.

• 3+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams
