About The Position

These ENG roles are primarily located at our Business & Technical Centers, with some opportunities also available at our Manufacturing Sites across the United States. This 12-week Engineering Internship offers a chance to contribute to P&G's global success in dynamic environments, from technical centers developing the latest innovations to plants optimizing advanced engineering systems. You'll be a key member of our engineering team, collaborating with R&D and Manufacturing, working with cutting-edge technologies, and gaining invaluable hands-on experience on projects that matter.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Science, Packaging Science, Environmental, Civil).
  • Anticipated graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029 (rising Juniors/Seniors).
  • An eagerness to contribute to projects, learn about managing timelines, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex issues and contribute to technical solutions. Basic understanding of control concepts, sensors, motors, PLCs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost. Proactive, self-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact.
  • Ability to complete a 12 week internship between May and August 2027. Exact start / end dates may vary depending on placement location and school schedules (e.g. we understand schools on quarter system may result in later start).
  • Ability to relocate for the Summer 2027 internship and willingness to relocate throughout your career.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in R&D, advanced manufacturing, or technical centers.
  • Specific experience with Rockwell PLCs, industrial networks, 3D CAD/CAE, tooling, plastics/molding, precision measurement, or packaging materials.
  • Data analysis tools (Python, R, LabVIEW) or programming languages.
  • Familiarity with machining/additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, development, and implementation of control systems, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, and AI/ML solutions for process control.
  • Apply mechanical engineering mastery to develop innovative equipment (e.g., Blades & Metals, Plastics Systems, Equipment Design). Work from modeling/analysis to hands-on prototyping.
  • Assist in refining technologies for material conversion and high-speed packaging, including packaging group projects.
  • Collaborate with R&D to scale up innovative processes, assist in material/format validation, optimize production lines, and support supplier management.
  • Support design and maintenance of precision instrumentation and metrology systems for quality control and measurement accuracy.
  • Contribute to developing and integrating robotic solutions for manufacturing tasks.
  • Support sustainable solutions, site infrastructure, and environmental compliance projects.
